Petrichor is a film about Nev, who in one furious week goes from a smart, and tenacious convict, to a desperate mother willing to risk everything to earn her son's love.

WRITERS:

Nicole Vinnola (CO-WRITER / PRODUCER) and Andres Torres-Vives (CO-WRITER / DIRECTOR) met through Film Independent's diversity talent development program: Project:Involve. After the success of their first collaboration, The Bridge, they decided to developing a concept close to their hearts: families and prison.   Petrichor will be their first feature length film collaboration.
